Joining him are Natasha, Pierre… alums Brittain Ashford, Gelsey Bell and cellist Brent Arnold. Annie Tippe will direct the tuner, which weaves four eerie narratives spanning seven centuries. The Lion Will Roar…Again The Lion, an autobiographical musical written and performed by Benjamin Scheuer, will play off-Broadway’s Lynn Redgrave Theater beginning February 3, 2015. The show, which follows Scheuer’s journey through love, loss, family loyalty and the redemptive power of music, was presented by Manhattan Theatre Club at New York City Center earlier this year, and had previously played Lincoln Center and London’s St. James Theatre. Opening night for the latest incarnation is set for February 8, and the show will run through March 29. New Look at Golden Globe-Nominated Into the Woods The film adaptation of Into the Woods received three Golden Globe nominations on December 11 for Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep and Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical.
